I have a doctorate, it’s not the same thing. You can’t help people with a doctorate. You just sit there and you’re useless! Yep, beautiful film. I miss sumptuous 2D animation like this.

It’s the boys’ first birthday today (rayyyyyy!) so I went to the shops to get them some treats. While I was there I saw the latest issue of our mag, Digital Photo, looking resplendent on the shelves. I think the issue’s an exciting departure for us and I’m excited to see how it does. Me and boys are currently gorging ourselves on animal flesh. If we can still move after we’ve finished the fine Italian sliced meats I’ll take them out for a sunset walk. It’s awesome to see how much they’ve grown and developed over the last year. They are amazing little chaps. Here’s hoping for many more happy years like this one. Happy birthday boys!

frenden: My Surface Pro 3 review unit just arrived from Microsoft. Woo! Interested to hear about this. Picked up a Surface Pro 2 and it’s a mixed bag. With the one pro (you can draw on it) being balanced by everything else (EVERYTHING else).

Awesomely, my balloon house image is still being considered for the cover of the August issue of Digital Photo magazine. Even better, I got to take a fun, fantasy Photoshop-themed Ed’s picture for DP editor Jon Adams! To see all our fun Photoshop tutorials, pick up a copy of Digital Photo in print or digital from July 17! It comes with a free copy of DxO Optics post-processing software and a CD full of video tutorials too. It’s gonna be a good issue. I have a good feeling about it :) #photography #photoshop #digitalphoto #magazine
