Cool! I just found Chinese characters in the lightning in Big Trouble in Little China! Check 'em out John Carpenter fans. 「ゴーストハンターズ」の雷神の稲妻に漢字を見つけた！

I did a little research of my own on the "Chinese Characters in Big Trouble in Little China" debate and found the following character floating in the air above the God of Lightning just after Egg Shen performs a clumsy lobotomy on him with a heavy statue.

A little research on t'Int@rW3bz turned up the following information about Mandarin Chinese.

John Carpenter of course directed 'Big Trouble in Little China' so this would appear to be a pretty cool little cap doff to the legend himself. But I wonder if anyone can tell me what these other characters mean?

The most moving part of the walk was being told by a small boy to look up into the trees, through the petals to a white bird that was sitting in a branch. Once I noticed one I realised there were dozens of these white birds, hidden and perfectly camouflaged among the white-pink sakura petals in full bloom. My jaw dropped when I realised how many of the little animals I had utterly failed to notice. The boy saw the stunned look on my face and smiled as if his work was done.
