Here are just a few of the awesome memories we made this Christmas, during a short new year’s break in the Lake District in Cumbria and then Skipton in Yorkshire. I took my two dogs, the Panasonic GM1 and a Fuji X-Pro 1 with me on the trip. We saw some great British views, ate some some good British food (not a contradiction in terms) and, most importantly, spent a lot of time and energy trying to make Bear a more sociable and less “yappy” little puppy. Progress has been slow, but I think I’m finally making some headway thanks to a wise old former dog trainer I bumped into in Windermere. A massive thanks to that man. I owe him a million. It was a growing experience all round. I’m already looking forward to our next road trip. I think I might invest in some new wheels to make the next one even more enjoyable…
